Papers [manuscript]. 1934-1971.

The collection consists of two parts. Firstly, correspondence, minutes and reports of the organizations with which Lamshed was connected, including the Adelaide Festival of Arts, the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, the Morialta Children's Homes, the Kindergarten Union of South Australia, the National Parks Commission, the Australian Red Cross Society and Rotary International. There are also papers on the 1954 Royal Visit, and some lectures to cadet journalists, correspondents including C.J. Glover, J.C. Irwin, P.J. Kearns and P. Henningham. The second part consists of Lamshed's writings and research notes. There are many notebooks which he kept while writing his biography of C.P. Mountford and the drafts and notes of his histories of Prospect, Mt. Gambier and the Barossa Valley. Finally, there are many typescript articles (some unpublished) and cutting books.
